PT Indopoly Swakarsa Industry Tbk today reports a 126.5% jump in net profit worth Rp101.2 billion at the end of May 2010 compared to the same period last year.
Indopoly's President Director Henry Halim said the increase was an impact of soaring sales volume and efficiency improvement.
In return, net profit margin of Indopoly rose from 9,9% in May 2009 to 15% as of May 2010.
"Sales at the end of May reached Rp675.4 billion, a 49.6% increase compared to the same period last year of Rp451.6 billion," he said.
Sales volume of biaxially-oriented polypropylene (BOPP) as well as operation of second lines production machine have boosted Indopoly's sales.
BOPP sales volume reached 31.251 tons as of May 2010, a 62.81% increase compared to the same period last year. Tomorrow Indopoly is scheduled to make trading debut in the stock market.
