Local brokerage PT Sinarmas Sekuritas, wholly owned by Sinarmas Group, remains on the move to accumulate stocks of Indonesia's largest coal producer and Asia's biggest thermal coal exporter PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI).
The local brokerage has recorded a Rp1.24 trillion net buy with total volume of 684.20 million shares since May 25 2010.
By recording net buy, Sinarmas has controlled 16.94% of the total Bumi's stocks purchase during the period. Affiliated foreign investment bank Credit Suisse, PT Credit Suisse Securities Indonesia, the most active arranger of loan facilities for Bumi and Bakrie Group, has ranked second by making Rp314.75 billion of net profit with total volume of 162.71 million stocks, taking 6.36% of the total net buy.
In the third position, PT ETrading Securities has also posted a net buy of Rp7.61 billion with total volume of 4.48 million stocks.
Today, Sinarmas Sekuritas keep purchasing BUMI shares worth Rp92.85 billion with total volume of 50.27 million shares, sending the brokerage at the largest brokerages list of net buy or 79.34%.
PT Phillip Securities today ranks second by recording a Rp9.33 billion net buy with total volume of 3.06 million of BUMI shares or 2.83% of today's total net buy.
ETrading Securities today ranks third worth Rp5.62 billion with total volume of 3.06 million stocks. Bumi falls 2.15% or Rp40 to Rp1,820 per share today.
