Upcoming initial public offering (IPOs) of Indonesia's largest steel manufacturer PT Krakatau Steel (KS) and state-owned flight company PT Garuda Indonesia have strongly drawn interest from foreign stellar private equity firms.
During non deal roadshow recently, State-Owned Minister Mustafa Abubakar said the Ministry has set up meetings in US with fame institutional investors such as Blackstone Group, Fidelity, State Street, Boston Corp. BNP Paribas Asset Management, Blackrock (Princeton) and Blackrock Inc, Deutsche Asset Management, Lazard & Co Ltd, T Rowe Price Group Inc, and Legg Mason International Equity.
In UK, he said, the ministry has meet Schroders Plc, JPMorgan Asset Management, Pictet Asset Management, Sloane Robinson, Robecco NV, Scottish Widow Invesment Partnership Ltd, First State, Martin Currie Investment Management Ltd, Standard Life, and Aegon Asset Management UK.
