Tin mining company PT Timah Tbk (TINS) is reported to post a 631.93% jump in net profit to Rp314 billion during the first half this year from a year earlier of Rp42.9 billion.
Citing a data obtained by Bisnis Indonesia, Timah booked Rp141.8 billion net profit in the first quarter this year, a 882% increase compared to the same period last year.
Timah President Director Wachid Usman and Corporate Secretary Abrun Abubakar haven't responded yet the confirmation.State-Owned Minister Mustafa Abubakar said Timah might post a steep jump in net profit during the first 6 months this year. "We can't publish the certain number due Timah is a publicly listed company," he said.
