Krisna Wijaya resigns from Danamon

Commissioner of PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (BDMN) Krisna Wijaya proposed to resign from his position.
Krisna Wijaya said the resignation is taken because he also serves as a commissioner at PT Bank Mandiri Tbk.
"Bank Indonesia regulation prohibits dual position and I have chosen to be effective at Bank Mandiri. Now, I am just waiting for the approval of Bank Indonesia for my position in Bank Mandiri," he said tonight.
Corporate Secretary of Bank Danamon Dini Herdini in the information disclosure to Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) revealed that the resignation of Krisna Wijaya during his tenure as the commissioner will be discussed in an annual general meeting of shareholders which going to discuss the accountability of board of directors for 2010 annual report.
Krisna Wijaya was born in Jakarta on July 22, 1955, and began his career at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BRI) in 1980 as a candidate for the general staff of the first generation
