Bukit Makmur manages bulk of contracts

PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk and its wholly owned subsidiary  PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (BUMA), Indonesia's second largest coal mining contractor, have managed bulk of contracts of coal production and overburden removal.
In the company's presentation in November 2010, Bukit Makmur currently manages 328 million tons coal production and 2.54 billion bank cubic meter (bcm) overburden removal during the contract periode of 9.9 years and 9.1 years respectively.
The contracts are including recent projects from PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) and US$200 million contract from PT Aritmin Indonesia with 80.9 million bcm overburden removal and 6.7 million tons of coal production.
In total, Bukit Makmur manages 12 contracts of coal mining, coal hauling, and overburden removal. Here are the breakdown:

1. Berau Coal-Lati, coal mining contract, periode of 1998-2018.
2. Berau Coal-Binungan, coal mining, 2003-2018.
3. Berau Coal-Suaran Port, coal hauling, 2003-2018.
4. Kideco, coal mining, 2004-2019.
5. Adaro, coal mining, 2009-2013.
6. Bayan-Gunung Bayan, oveburden removal, 2007-2013.
7. Bayan-Perkasa Inakakerta, coal mining, 2007-2012.
8. Marunda Graha Mineral, coal mining, 2003-2012.
9. Lanna Harita Indonesia, coal mining, 2001-2013.
10. Arutmin, coal mining, 2008-2014.
11. Bukit Baiduri Energi-Merandai, coal mining, 2001-2010.
12. Darma Henwa, coal mining, 2010-2013.

Capital expenditure
For the periode of 9 months this year, Bukit Makmur spent US$153 million capital expenditure (capex), US$78 million higher than US$75 million last year.
Coal production volume rose 6.1% to 25 million tons from 24 million tons a year earlier, while overburden removal increased 1.9% to 211 million bcm from 207 a year earlier.
