United Tractors eyeing 6,000 units sales

Heavy equipment Komatsu distributor, coal miner, and coal contractor PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) is eyeing 6,000 units of heavy equipment sales this year from 5,400 units estimated last year.
The increase is underpinned by higher demand from companies in the plantation and mining sectors.
"Mining and plantation companies need additional heavy equipments to underpin their operational," said United Tractors Investor Relations Ari Setiyawan, as reported by Investor Daily, today.
He said UNTR posted 11 months sales of 5,091 units of heavy equipment. The company is optimistic to reach its annual target last year of 5,400 units.
Adaro Energy, one of UNTR's clients, recently upsized its capex to US$603 million-US$628 million. The capex for heavy equipment spending is US$250 million.
