Indonesia’s largest pharmaceutical company PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF) plans to propose half of its net income last year to be distributed as dividend or equals to Rp68.5 per share.
Kalbe Farma Finance Director Vidjongtius said the proposed dividend is in line with net income growth. “Kalbe’s earning per share has increases to Rp137 per share last year from Rp70 in 2007,” he said in a press conference today.

“We won’t stop to the payout ratio of 50%. There is a foreign company which allocates all its net income as dividend. We are earger to learn from them,” Vidjongtius said.
In 2010, the company recorded Rp1.29 trillion net income, a 38.5% increase compared to last year. Net sales increased 12.5% to Rp10.23 trillion last year.
