Pharmaceutical company PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (TSPC) posted a 20.2% increase in net profit in the first quarter of this year as a result of higher net sales.
The company booked Rp192 billion net profit in 1Q 2011. Net sales grew 8% to Rp1.31 trillion. Tempo Scan’s operating profit grew 17.1%
Tempo Scan is an arm of The Tempo Group which is founded by one of Indonesian richest businesswoman Kartini Muljadi. Tempo Group is led by Kartini's son, Handojo Selamet Muljadi as the President Director. The group has four main businesses, pharmaceutical, personal care and cosmetics, distribution, and supporting division.
