PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR), distributor of Komatsu heavy equipment and parent of PT Pamapersada Nusantara, has revised up its equipment sales target to 7,500 units this year from 5,404 units last year due to higher demand.
Finance Director Gideon Hasan said by end of June 2011, United Tractors posted 4,300 units of Komatsu sales volume, a 81.28% jump from 2,372 units a year earlier.
In return, the company's revenue and net profit may increase in line with the growth in the first quarter of this year.
Gideon also said United Tractors may realize the coal acquisition in Central Kalimantan with 50 million tons of reserves, using proceed from rights issue, in the next 2-3 weeks.
