Trikomsel to buy Global Teleshop

Mobile phone distributor PT Trikomsel Oke Tbk finally reveals its intention to acquire Global Teleshop, an outlet that provides similar products.
In an official statement filed to Indonesia Stock Exchange late last week, Corporate Secretary Juliana Samudro at Trikomsel said the proposed takeover is in line with the company's plan to develop its business.
According to Kontan daily, Global Teleshop is operated by PT Cipta Multi Usaha Perkasa.
Cipta Usaha Perkasa manages 285 outlets of Global Teleshop, 18 Nokia outlets, 30 Nokia Care Centers, 15 outlets of Halo Telkomsel, two Samsung Mobile Plazas, three official Apple retailers, and 20 LG showrooms.
President Director Sugiyono Wiyono said Trikomsel has set a Rp250 billion-Rp300 billion capital expenditure in 2012. Trikomsel will use some part of the capex to buy Global Teleshop.
