Resource Alam FY11 profit up 171%

Coal mining company PT Resource Alam Indonesia Tbk (KKGI) reported a 171.16% jump in net profit last year on the back of robust growth in net sales.

Resource Alam, that is controlled by Adijanto family, posted Rp450.20 billion net profit last year (FY2011) from Rp166.03 billion a year earlier.

Operating profit jumped 166.96% to Rp633.05 billion from Rp237.13 billion a year earlier, while gross profit rose 155.18% to Rp869.78 billion from Rp340.85 billion.

Resource Alam booked a 119/49% jump in net sales to Rp2.13 trillion from Rp969.35 billion.
